John and Cindy McCain helped "The View' to some of it's best ratings.... EVER. This from TV Week.
John and Cindy McCain’s appearance on “The View” on Sept. 15 was the talk show’s fourth most watched telecast ever with 4.62 million total viewers.
The appearance helped the show deliver its highest-rated week in a year and a half among total viewers and the seventh best week of its 12-year run with 3.95 million viewers.
“The View” placed in the top three daytime programs for women 18-49 for the second straight week with a 1.3 rating. The show also attracted a 0.9 rating for women 18-34, placing it in the top three for the demographic.
