Barack Obama - At A Rally In Virginia

“Listen, Virginia, I’m not going to be able to do it by myself; I am going to need every one of you,” Mr. Obama is quoted in teh New York Times telling an audience of several hundred supporters. “So in the next few months, I need you to be my ambassadors.”

As it relates to his vice presidential candidate search, Obama said, “Obviously, Senator Clinton’s been through this when President Clinton went through a very deliberative process before he selected Al Gore." He added, “There’s no decision that I’m going to make that’s going to be more important before the November election. I intend to do it right, and I’m not going to do it in the press.”
